    Sir,

        My father S.C.C. Anthoni Pillai, Ex MP already allocated additional 777 acres adjoining to Meenambakkam Airport for future expansion of Meenambakkam Airport as per the trust executed before Independence, lands given on a Francis basis to Meenambakkam Airport Authority and thereafter as per the recital of the said trust. Regard to this I had already published in my Face Book dated on 9-9-2025 as per my father’s records. I wish your higher authority to consider before destroying Farm Lands in Parandur given as follow in my Face Book dated 09-09-2025

       I would like to convey this message to Mr. N. Chandra Sekaran , Air India Head Quarters Block-4, Vatika ONE on ONE, NH -48, Gurugaam, Haryana-122007, regard to Future expansion already allocated to Meenambakkam Airport Chennai, under the trust another 777 acres of land to be added as stated in the “PT Lee Chengalvaraya Naicker Trust, executor was an EX. MP. S.C.C.Anthoni Pillai, voracious reader returned from London had executed the trust before Independence pertains to lands adjoining to Meenambakkam Airport in KK Nagar, Chennai mainly meant for airport expansion comes under the scanner of the said trust.

 
      Mostly well educated people put to hardship in this mode of travel to Parandur (which is 70 km away from Chennai- journey destroys India's growth) is highly unacceptable. (Farm lands in Parandur are most important for food production and what about wear and tear in every mode of travel), 1) News article titled “Ganges experiences driest patch in 1,300 yrs: IIT Study’ dt 26-9-25 copy being enclosed.

2)Another News article titled as “Long, Dry Spring Season Puts Himalayan Rivers Under Stress” appeared in The Times of India dated 2-3-2026

 

      I would be greatly indebted and grateful to you, if you could kindly consider for the expansion of Meenambakkam Airport within the city.

Meenambakam Airport Authority had approved my said letter and started expanding the airport. For public Interest read the News Article titled as ‘Chennai airport plans to clear path for 2^nd runway’ appeared in The Times of India dated 29-11-2025 now only Airport started expanding the second run way for last 10 years it was short run way at Meenambakkam.
